I thought I would start a new blog but I changed my mind. I will pick up where I left off. I have gone back to old things, old ways, and I need to look back and figure out what happened. This blog is mine and at times it might seem very RAW and I apologize if that offends. This has been a journal of mine that has proven to be a great source of strength. If it helps another, then that makes me feel even better.
I sometimes add a 1/4 cup of whole flax seeds. The give it a nutty texture and then all the yummy goodness that flax seeds offer as well. It's a win!win!
this looks good. banana bread is too yummy. did you read my post about it today? mine only had about 50 calories more per serving. wonder what the difference in serving sizes is between the two. i wonder how accurate sparkrecipes.com is.
Thank you for posting this. I'll give it a shot when I'm allowed to have it in a few weeks. Do you really like flax? I've never tried it & will have to give it a shot.
Emily, I cut my banana bread in much smaller pieces than the recipe says is a serving size. I get at least 12 slices out of a loaf.
Shannon...I do like Flax seeds. I use it in a lot of things. I also like the flax meal. I was suprised to learn that flax meal + water can be used as an egg substitute in recipes.
